MOUNT PLEASANT, SC-Limo Driver by night, crime fighter by day.
Police say 51 year old Cecil Haire walked into the N-S-B-C on Highway 17 in Mount Pleasant around 12:30 Friday afternoon. He showed his gun to a teller, then walked out with an undisclosed amount of money. He thought he had the perfect get away but outside the bank was a local limo driver who just happened to be outside the bank [sic]. He followed Haire down the street and watched Haire get into his getaway car.
The man was able to get the year, make, and model of the car and within an hour, police had their man. Haire has been charged with robbery. He is currently at the Charleston County Detention Center.
